Honoured to be part of the Khunti Puja It was a privilege to attend the inauguration of the iconic Santosh Mitra Square Durga Puja in Kolkata, on the invitation of Shri Sajal Ghosh, MLA.

The evening provided an excellent opportunity to interact with several distinguished public representatives, including Minister Commerce & Industries - Shri Tapas Roy, MLA Baranagar - Shri Sajal Ghosh, MLA Ballygunge - Shri Keya Ghosh, Shri Priyanka Tibrewal, Shri Santosh Pathak and other eminent dignitaries.

I appreciate the warm hospitality extended by Shri Sajal Ghosh Da and the organising committee. This year’s theme, “Vande Mataram,” promises to be an extraordinary tribute to India’s journey—from Independence to the vision of Viksit Bharat—through an innovative mechanical presentation, continuing Santosh Mitra Square’s legacy of setting new benchmarks in Durga Puja celebrations.

Wishing the entire team every success for a memorable Durga Puja that celebrates our heritage, innovation, and the spirit of the nation.

Jai Hind. Vande Mataram. May Maa Durga bless everyone with peace, prosperity, good health, and happiness.

Every significant national initiative begins with a clear vision, meaningful dialogue, and the collective resolve to translate ideas into action.

Today, we convened a strategic meeting for Azad Bharat Conclave 2.0, where we deliberated on the roadmap, priorities, and ex*****on plan for the upcoming edition of the conclave. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to creating a platform that brings together diverse voices, encourages constructive policy dialogue, and contributes to the larger national discourse.

As we move forward, our focus remains on building an initiative that is credible, inclusive, and driven by purpose—one that inspires informed participation, responsible leadership, and collaborative action for the nation.

My sincere appreciation to every member who participated in today’s meeting and contributed valuable insights. The strength of any mission lies in the people who believe in it and work tirelessly to transform vision into reality.

The groundwork has been laid. Now begins the journey towards Azad Bharat Conclave 2.0.

As you all know, Garga Chatterjee of Bangla Pokkho has recently been arrested under certain charges.

But those who are demanding his release should also know that if citizens across Bengal who allegedly suffered harassment, intimidation, hate-driven targeting, regional discrimination, psychological pressure, or public humiliation due to the campaigns and statements associated with Bangla Pokkho start coming forward, then several other constitutional and BNS-related provisions may also deserve legal examination and investigation.

The following provisions may be examined by authorities on the basis of complaints, evidence, videos, speeches, social media posts, victim testimonies, and organised activities allegedly affecting non-Bengali communities and social harmony:

• Article 14 of the Constitution of India
— Right to Equality before law

• Article 15 of the Constitution of India
— Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of language, place of birth, caste, community, etc.

• Article 19(1)(d), 19(1)(e) & 19(1)(g)
— Freedom to move freely, reside, and work anywhere in India

• Article 21
— Right to Life, Liberty, Dignity & Peaceful Living

Possible examination under BNS provisions including:

• BNS Section 196
— Promoting enmity, hatred, ill-will, or disharmony between regional/language groups (Apni Law)

• BNS Section 197
— Assertions prejudicial to national integration and denial of equal citizenship rights to a class/community (YouTube)

• BNS Section 351
— Criminal intimidation, fear creation, and threats (where applicable based on evidence) (The Times of India)

• BNS Section 353(2)
— Statements or misinformation allegedly creating hatred, fear, or public disorder (where applicable) (The Times of India)

If you or your family were directly or indirectly harassed, threatened, humiliated, targeted, discriminated against, mentally disturbed, or socially affected by such campaigns, statements, or activities, then this is the time to raise your voice constitutionally and democratically.

Comment “FIR” in support of a Mass FIR & Complaint Campaign.

You may also submit complaints before NHRO. Verified complaints and representations can be taken further before NHRC & SHRC through proper legal procedure.

No Indian should ever feel unsafe in their own country because of language, region, surname, or community identity.

Happy New Year 2026
A new year doesn’t change life overnight — but it does give us a clean starting point.
Not to pretend everything is perfect, but to decide what we will do better from today.

This year, I choose clarity over confusion.
Work over noise.
Purpose over pressure.
There’s a lot to build, a lot to fix, and a lot to stand for.
And it all starts now, not someday.

Wishing everyone a year of honest efforts, quiet strength, and forward movement.

Deeply shocked and heartbroken by the brutal attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

As the National President of the National Human Rights Organisation, I strongly condemn this horrific act of violence against civilians.
Terror has no place in our society.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost their loved ones and those injured.
Let us unite as a nation to demand justice, peace, and protection for every human life.

We stand with Kashmir. We stand with humanity.

Congratulations to Donald J. Trump and the people of America on his election as the 47th President! As a businessman turned political leader, Trump brings a unique lens to global policies—one that resonates deeply with those of us balancing leadership across business and advocacy.

From a human rights perspective, his leadership signals a time to remain vigilant in ensuring international policies uphold dignity, transparency, and equality. As the National President of NHRO, I see this as an opportunity to strengthen cross-border commitments to these values.

For India, Trump’s presidency may reshape trade dynamics, presenting both challenges and opportunities, particularly in technology and defense collaborations. This new chapter reminds us that resilient and adaptive strategies are essential to navigating changes in global business landscapes while staying rooted in ethical principles.

“Sunday mornings are a reminder to pause, reflect, and recharge. 🌄

In the midst of balancing responsibilities—whether it’s advocating for human rights or guiding businesses toward growth—it's easy to lose sight of why we started. I’ve found that taking a moment to reconnect with purpose brings a fresh perspective and renewed energy to lead effectively.

As we head into a new week, I’m reminded of the importance of leading with empathy and clarity. Whatever challenges lie ahead, let’s remember to stay grounded in what truly matters.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and purposeful Sunday.

How do you recharge for the week ahead?”
