SESWA PROFILE :
The Santal Engineering Students' Welfare Association (W.B.) started its Journey on 31st August, 2003 at Bengal Engineering & Science University in Shibpur. When the Santal Engineering students of various college of West Bengal mot to get together, bring all Santal Engineering Students on a single platform. Our basic idea behind this association is to keep contact with each

other, so that we can help each other in times of need and other relevant incentives. Every year we organize annual Picnic during the last week of January and Freshers Welcome during October as get together to discuss and share our views. Its has given rise to a very strong bond and communication in the all Santal Engineering Students to form a massive concreate shape. To establish proper interaction among santal engineering students of all possible technical institutes and also with santal engineers.

2. To circulate the necessary academic information through electronic media among santal engineering students like campus interview and jobs in Government & private sectors.

3. To circulate other relevant information like scholarships issued by several Government organisations exclusive for SC/ST students which usually goes unnoticed.

4. To look after the educational problems of Santal Engineering students.

5. To encourage the 10+2 students to appear in different Entrance Examination.

6. To assist and advice students regarding seat selection during WBJEE. To encourage Santali and English as the communicating language among all the Santal Engineering Students.

8. To award top 3 rank holder Santal students in WBJEE (admitted in any institution) and also in IITJEE and AIEEE.

9. To look after the proper implementation of reservation in under graduate, postgraduate courses and services.

10. To promote Santal culture among Santal Engineering students.

11. A magazine should be produced including the different topics-article, job details, dairy of annual events etc.

12. To stand beside Santal society in problems which decelerate the advancement of society.

We, the Santal Engineering Students' Welfare Association [SESWA(W.B.)], take great pleasure in announcing the 22nd Annual Cultural Programme and Freshers' Welcome for the academic year 2025-26.

This year's celebration is being hosted by Kalyani Government Engineering College. We extend a warm invitation to all students, alumni, and revered guests of SESWA (W.B.) to join us for an afternoon and evening dedicated to celebrating our heritage and academic community, and to welcome our newest members.
