Hon’ble Governor Shri R. N. Ravi administered the oath of office and secrecy to the members of the Council of Ministers at a swearing-in ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Kolkata, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Suvendu Adhikari and other dignitaries.

বিশ্ব সংবাদ কেন্দ্র, উত্তরবঙ্গ আয়োজিত শিলিগুড়িতে দেবর্ষি নারদ জয়ন্তী উদ্‌যাপন অনুষ্ঠানে রাজ্যপাল রবি সাংবাদিক এবং সামাজিক মাধ্যমের প্রতিনিধিদের সম্মানিত করেন।
​সমবেত উপস্থিতিদের উদ্দেশে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে, রাজ্যপাল ২০৪৭ সালের মধ্যে বিকশিত ভারত গড়ার যাত্রায় সংবাদমাধ্যম জগতের অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকার কথা উল্লেখ করেন এবং জাতীয় স্বার্থকে সবার উপরে রেখে নিজেদের রাষ্ট্রধর্ম পালন করার ওপর জোর দেন। তিনি তাদেরকে সমাজের প্রতিটি স্তরে ঘটে চলা রূপান্তরমূলক পরিবর্তনগুলিকে সামনে তুলে ধরতে, দায়িত্বশীল সাংবাদিকতার মাধ্যমে জনবিশ্বাস বাড়াতে এবং সেই সমস্ত ভুয়ো খবর ও বিভ্রান্তিকর তথ্য সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা তৈরি ও সেগুলির মোকাবিলা করার আহ্বান জানান, যা সাংবিধানিক প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলির প্রতি আস্থা নষ্ট করতে, সামাজিক সম্প্রীতি ব্যাহত করতে এবং জাতীয় অগ্রগতিকে দুর্বল করতে চায়।

Governor Ravi felicitated journalists and social media representatives at the Devarshi Narad Jayanti celebration event in Siliguri, organised by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Uttarbanga.
Addressing the gathering, Governor underscored the pivotal role of the media fraternity in the journey towards Viksit Bharat by 2047, emphasising the need to observe its Rashtradharma by keeping national interest paramount. He urged them to highlight the transformative changes unfolding at the grassroots, foster public confidence through responsible journalism and raise awareness about, and counter, fake news and disinformation that seek to erode trust in constitutional institutions, disrupt social harmony and undermine national progress.

বৈকাসি অনূষম-এর এই পুণ্যলগ্নে সমগ্র দেশ ভারতীয় সনাতন ঐতিহ্যের মহান তামিল ঋষি-কবি তিরুভল্লুভরের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করছে। তিরুভল্লুভরের তিরুক্কুরাল হলো ধর্ম ও নীতির এক চিরন্তন সঙ্গম, যা ন্যায়নিষ্ঠ জীবনযাপন ও নৈতিক সুশাসনের পথ নির্দেশ করে এবং ব্যক্তিগত আচরণ ও সামষ্টিক জীবনবোধকে রূপদান করে।

দেবী অহল্যাবাঈ হোলকারের জয়ন্তীতে জানাই বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি। এমন এক সময়ে, যখন ভারতের বহু পবিত্র পীঠস্থান বিদেশি আক্রমণকারীদের হাতে ব্যাপক ধ্বংসের সম্মুখীন হয়েছিল, তিনি সেগুলির পুনর্গঠন ও পুনরুজ্জীবনে নিজের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন। সমগ্র ভারতজুড়ে মন্দির ও পুণ্যতীর্থসমূহ পুনর্নির্মাণের মাধ্যমে তিনি জাতির আধ্যাত্মিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যকে সুরক্ষিত করেন, ভারতীয় সভ্যতার ধারাবাহিকতাকে সুদৃঢ় করেন এবং ভারতের পরিচয়ের মূল ভিত্তি সেই সাংস্কৃতিক আত্মবিশ্বাসকে পুনর্জাগ্রত করেন।
​তিনি বিধবা, কৃষক, জনজাতি সম্প্রদায় এবং সমাজের সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষের কল্যাণে কাজ করেছেন; একই সাথে শিক্ষা বিস্তার এবং জল সংরক্ষণ ও পরিবেশ সুরক্ষাকে শক্তিশালী করেছেন, যা ধর্ম, সেবা ও সহমর্মিতাভিত্তিক সুশাসনেরই প্রতিফলন। ২০৪৭ সালের মধ্যে একটি পূর্ণ বিকশিত ভারতের অভিমুখে যাত্রাপথে তাঁর পুণ্যস্মৃতি আজও এক অনন্য অনুপ্রেরণার দিশারী।

Humble tribute to Devi Ahilyabai Holkar on her jayanti. At a time when many of Bharat’s sacred centres had suffered immense destruction at the hands of foreign invaders, she dedicated her life to their restoration and revival. By rebuilding temples and pilgrimage centers across Bharat, she safeguarded the nation’s spiritual and cultural heritage, reinforced its civilizational continuity, and rekindled the cultural confidence that defines Bharat.
She worked for the welfare of widows, farmers, tribal communities and the underprivileged, while advancing education and strengthening water conservation and environmental stewardship, reflecting governance rooted in Dharma, service and compassion. Her legacy remains a guiding force in the journey towards fully developed Bharat by 2047.
