al Compact, Network India and Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs). The foundation is actively working with the Directorate of Correctional Services, Govt. imparting varies skill development and reformatory programmes. The vision of Rakshak Foundation is poverty alleviation through skill and livelihood development with a special focus on women empowerment while conserving the environment and creating an inclusive World. The mission is to emphasize Skill Development, to create responsible livelihoods targeting eco-friendly environment. Rakshak Foundation has initiated and participated in various international delegations and summits to advocate and uphold the cause of women's empowerment, gender equality and inclusion along with eco- conservation. A high profile women's delegation from Yunnan province to India was also hosted in accordance. Community policing at Rakshak Foundation has been closely working with the Kolkata Police since 2016. The first-ever ‘SMART Class’ was conceptualized for the under privileged children at NABADISHA, who live on the streets, school drop-outs, aged between 4-15 years. The Smart Class was set up with the aim of holistic development of underprivileged children, inculcating values and good habits, engaging them with educational games, folk tales, painting, music and dance through interactive and fun learning through smart educational tools.
