Institute Colloquium | S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences
S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences hosted an engaging Institute Colloquium on 21 August 2026 at Fermion Hall.
The Centre was pleased to welcome Prof. Mukul Kabir, Professor, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, who delivered a thought-provoking talk titled:
“Flat, Magnetic, and Exotic: Designing Quantum States in 2D”
The lecture explored the fascinating landscape of two-dimensional quantum materials and states, highlighting emerging possibilities in designing flat, magnetic, and exotic quantum states. The session provided an excellent opportunity for researchers and students to engage with contemporary developments in condensed matter physics and quantum materials.
We thank Prof. Mukul Kabir for the insightful lecture and all participants for their enthusiastic engagement.
