✅ Enactment of Income Tax Act 2025
🔰 As per the recent notification received from the Income Tax Department, please note that from 01 April 2026 onwards, additional proof of Date of Birth (DOB) will be mandatory along with Aadhaar for all PAN applications.
The following documents will be accepted as valid DOB proof:
• Birth Certificate
• Voter ID Card
• Matriculation Certificate
• Driving License
• Passport
• Affidavit issued by a Magistrate
• Any other valid government-issued document confirming Date of Birth
🔰 Changes in existing PAN Application forms wef 01 April 2026.
✅ Till 31 March 2026, PAN applications can still be processed using Aadhaar as the ID/DOB/Address Proof, which makes the process quicker and easier for customers.
