Mylakkad My Beautiful Village Mylakkadu is a small suburban Village and Junction Just near the town Kottiyam. Which is located in Kollam district.

Ithikkara and Ithikkara River are nearby, as is NH 47. The National Highway is very helpful in the development of Mylakkadu. Mylakkadu is also connected to Kannanalloor and Kundara through Mylakkadu - Kannanalloor road. Mylakkadu is well known on its clay and bricks industries. Travancore poteries and Regal are the oldest factories in Mylakkadu. These factories are started on the colonial period. Kottiyam, Paravur and Chathannoor are the nearest towns.
