🌟 NSS 7-Day Special Camp – Day 7 Celebration
NSS Unit, J.P. Inter College, Kotdwar

The 7th and final day of the NSS Seven-Day Special Camp at J.P. Inter College, Kotdwar was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride 🎉. The programme was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests: Mr. Pushkar Singh Negi Ji (NSS Garhwal Mandal Coordinator & Principal, PIC Surkhet), Mr. Deepak Gaur Ji (Director, Creative Children Public School, Kotdwar), Mr. Himanshu Verma Ji (Ward No. 04, Parshad), Mr. Santosh Negi Ji (LT Mathematics, GIC Kotdwar), Shrimati Saroj Rawat Ji (Vice Principal, Arya Kanya Inter College, Kotdwar), Shrimati Urmila Devrani Ji (Principal, RBSN, Kotdwar), and Shrimati Kanta Kukreti Ji (Manager, JPIC, Kotdwar) 🌸.

The honoured guests explained the true purpose and importance of NSS and motivated volunteers to serve society with dedication 🇮🇳. Students shared valuable experiences from the camp, and best wishes were extended for the upcoming NSS ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate examinations 📘✨.
The programme featured Garhwali folk dances and an energetic guitar instrumental performance, creating a joyful atmosphere 🎶🎸.

🌿 NSS Awareness March – Sparsh Ganga Abhiyan 🌿
📅 Date: 17/12/2025

Today, the NSS volunteers of J.P. Inter College, Kotdwar organized an awareness march under the Sparsh Ganga Abhiyan, starting from J.P. Inter College to Ratanpur. 🚶♂️🚶♀️
The day began on a positive note with a beautiful NSS song, creating an atmosphere of unity and responsibility 🎶. Babli (Class 12) explained the importance of the Swachhata Abhiyan to all the students, followed by a few inspiring words on cleanliness by Lakshmi (Class 11) 🧹✨.

After the march, all the NSS volunteers actively participated in the cleaning drive at the Khoh River near Gadi Ghat, contributing their efforts to protect and preserve nature 🌊🌱.
The volunteers also spread awareness and delivered a strong message to society about cleanliness, environmental protection, and responsibility towards our rivers 🌍💚.

🌍 World AIDS Day – Awareness Programme at J.P. Inter College, Kotdwar

Today, the NSS volunteers of our college successfully organized an AIDS Awareness Session to educate students about HIV/AIDS and its prevention.

We were honoured to have the team from NGO "Grameen Himalaya Adhyayan Evam Sanrakshan Sanstha" with us.
Project Director Mrs. Geeta Gusain, Project Manager Mrs. Sunita Devrani, Counsellor Mr. Lakhpat Singh Rana, and outreach workers Mr. Gopal Jagmola, Mr. Deepak Kumar, Mrs. Rashmi Bisht & Mrs. Krishna Joshi shared important and practical information with the students.

We also received valuable guidance from Prof. Mrs. Preeti Rani, Head of Commerce Dept., PG College Kotdwar, who clearly explained the main aim of this programme—to spread awareness, break myths, and encourage a responsible approach towards health. Assistant Professor Miss Anshika Bansal also shared insightful points that helped students understand the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness.

We are extremely proud to announce that our talented boxers have once again made history at the State Level Boxing Championship held at Haldwani Stadium from 7th to 10th October 2025!

💥 🥇MAYANK ADHIKARI (42 KG CATEGORY) – Displayed sheer determination and speed in the ring! His powerful punches and unmatched focus left his opponents stunned, earning him a Gold Medal and the title of State Champion! 👑

💥 🥇PRATYUSH DOBHAL (63 KG CATEGORY) – Known for his agility and strategic moves, Pratyush dominated every round with confidence. His fearless attitude and quick counterattacks led him to a Gold Medal, making the school proud once again! 🥇🔥

💥 🥈VANSH KHATI (52 KG CATEGORY) – Showed excellent technique and courage throughout the competition. With his sharp footwork and powerful combinations, he earned a well-deserved Silver Medal and won everyone’s hearts. 🥈✨

🌟 Proud Moment for JPIC, KOTDWAR! 🌟

On 25th September 2025, the Uttarakhand Government honored the Top 10 Board Rankers with the prestigious Pitambar Dutt Dayal Upadhyay Education Excellence Award in Dehradun.

Among the shining stars, Akshat Dobariyal, a Class 10th student of J.P. Inter College, Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal, brought immense pride to his school and hometown by securing the 9th rank in the state merit list with an outstanding 97.4% in the 2025 Board Exams. 🎓✨

He was felicitated with a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat.
