About Our Chairman Dr. Biju Kaipparedan

Dr. Biju Kaipparedan has exposed his multifaceted personality as a Management Consultant, Journalist, Teacher, Social Activist, Trade Union Leader, Motivator, Lawyer, Educationalist, Lyric, and Script Writer, Columnist, Orator, and Career Consultant.

He graduated in Economics from MG University in 1987 and in Hotel Management in 1991. He started his career in Mumbai as a Food & Beverage Controller with Ramada Group of Hotels in 1992. Later he joined as HR Manager with Project System, one of the pioneer HR concerns in the Middle East. On return to the homeland, he accepted teaching as a career. He joined in the MG University Center at K E College Mannanam for teaching.

His exposure to print media is remarkable. He was the Special Correspondent of Kerala Shabdham Political Weekly for quite a long time and had worked for Deepika Group as its Editorial Coordinator. He also worked for The Pioneer English Daily as its Bureau Chief. He was the News Editor of Janayugam Malayalam Daily. He is a columnist for many Malayalam publications.

Dr. Biju Kaipparedan has 13 Post Graduate Degrees from various Universities in Business Management(MBA), Social Work(MSW), Sociology (MA), Psychology (MSc), Law(LLB & LLM), Commerce & Finance(MCom), Mass Communication & Journalism (MCJ), Library & Infomation Science(BLIS, MLIS, MPhil & Ph.D.) and Education (BEd).

He was the Editor of Indian Journal of Library & Information Science from 2000 to 2004. Currently, he is the Associate Editor of three international journals- “International Journal of Academic Research and Development”, "International Journal of Humanities and Social Science Research" and "International Journal of Advanced Research and Development".

In 2000, the American Library Association (ALA) honored Dr. Kaipparedan by awarding him their Life Membership. In 2002 the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) accorded him as its Fellow of Emminence. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Studies for Hotel Management in Karanata State Open University, Mysore.

In 2005 he was elected to the Kottayam District Panchayath and later to the Kottayam District Planning Committee. In 2007 he was nominated by the then Government of Kerala as the Director Board Member of Kerala Language Institute. In 2008 he produced a Malayalam feature film “Kangaroo” and wrote its lyrics. He was the Director of Indian Institute of Knowledge Management(IIKM) Uzhavoor, an outlet of Alagappa University. Also, he served as the Academic Director of Green Park Catering College & Management Institute, Kuravilangadu, an outlet of Bharathiar University.

In 2019 targeting domestic students who intend to study abroad he initiated FLY HIGH- The Career Bank an overseas education consultancy at Coimbatore.

Dr. Kaipparedan’s Civil Service Academy-is another feather on his cap. He initiated this center at Coimbatore for Civil Service aspirants. Special coaching is given to school going children also to mould their academic personality. The founder himself has described the center as; the “Brain Builders”.

He also founded Dr. Kaipparedan’s Language Institute. Hundreds of students learn foreign languages at this center.

He has published a number of research papers in various national and international journals and many books on Management Studies and Law. Currently, he is the Director of Green Valley Rural College, Coimbatore.
