The District Administration Kupwara organised a pledge-taking ceremony at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office, Kupwara, under the **Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA)**, reaffirming the collective commitment towards building a healthier and drug-free society.

**Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad Khan**, administered the pledge to participating officers, who resolved to contribute actively towards creating a drug-free environment.

The ceremony was attended by various District and Sectoral Officers, who reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening efforts against substance abuse across the district.

The ADC emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts by government departments, communities and stakeholders to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage, particularly among the youth, a life free from drugs.
