Education department Kupwara, DIPR organize Nasha Mukt activities in schools
KUPWARA, APRIL 23: School Education Department Kupwara, in collaboration with the District Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Kupwara, today organized a series of awareness and engagement activities across various schools in the district under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan. The initiative aimed to sensitize students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to encourage a collective commitment toward building a drug-free society.
As part of the Campaign, students and staff members actively participated in pledge-taking ceremonies, reaffirming their resolve to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness within their communities. Interactive awareness sessions were conducted to educate students about the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse.
To further engage young minds, schools organized debate and painting competitions centered on themes related to drug de-addiction and healthy lifestyles. These activities not only provided a creative platform for students to express their views but also helped reinforce the message of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan in an impactful manner.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and school authorities, reflecting a strong collective commitment toward the vision of a drug-free Kupwara.
