🚨 IRAN WAR — DAY 5. Here's 10 Latest Updates You Should Probably Know...

1. A US Navy submarine sank an Iranian warship — the IRIS Dena frigate, 40 nautical miles off the coast of Sri Lanka.

This war has now reached the Indian Ocean. 32 crew members pulled from the water. This is no longer just a Middle East conflict.

2. A UK RAF base in Cyprus was struck by an Iranian drone. Britain is now directly in the crossfire.

3. Iraq is shutting down its largest oil fields. With the Strait of Hormuz closed, they have nowhere to export the oil.

Production is being halted. Iraq — a country that produces 4 million barrels a day, is being economically strangled by its own geography.

4. 4,000+ flights cancelled daily. Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air India, Virgin Atlantic all suspended.

Dubai International Airport, the world's busiest — shut down. Hundreds of thousands of passengers stranded. Losses already estimated in the billions.

5. The US Senate voted 47-53 to block Trump's war powers. Only ONE Republican, Rand Paul — voted to stop the war. It failed.

6. Israel is moving its elections forward to June/July 2026 to let Netanyahu capitalize on the war.

Politics is already reshaping around this conflict.

7. The world is now officially split.

- Supporting the strikes: Ukraine, Germany, Australia, Canada, UK, France.

- Opposing: China, Russia, Pakistan, Brazil, Spain, Norway, North Korea.

This is the closest thing to a global coalition divide since the Cold War.

8. 1,600 Americans are still trapped in the Middle East. Rubio is arranging charter flights out. The US government is telling its own citizens to leave the entire region immediately.

9. Inside Iran: Banks are restricting cash withdrawals. People are stockpiling food. Crowds lining up at gas stations.

The internet is 96% blocked. Iran's civilians are living through a complete information blackout.

10. The White House has no timeline for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

When asked directly, Press Secretary Leavitt said: "I don't want to commit to a timeline."

20% of the world's oil. No timeline for when it flows again.

This is Day 5. President Trump says there are 4-5 weeks of combat ahead.

Stay informed. Turn on notifications because this affects all of us.

Why Is Iran Attacking Other Countries? (It's not just restricted to US bases now...)

Before you read this, just answer one simple question. Can Iran win a war against USA & Israel?

It's a BIG NO.

Not just because of superior weapons & military, but also because of superior intelligence.

Anyways, but the reason Iran is doing this is to change the pressure dynamics.

If the fight stays between the U.S., Israel, and Iran…
Iran is isolated.

But if oil routes get threatened…
If Gulf economies feel heat…
If energy prices spike globally…

Then suddenly the whole world is involved.

That’s the logic.

Let's learn this taking India's example which is the largest democracy in Asia.

So, why Target the Gulf?

The Strait of Hormuz handles roughly 20% of global oil flows.

India alone receives around 2.5–2.7 million barrels per day through that corridor, and more than 60% of its energy imports come from the Gulf region.

So when instability spreads there, it doesn’t just hit Israel.

- It hits India.
- It hits Europe.
- It hits Asia.

Oil prices rise.
Shipping insurance rises.
Logistics routes get longer.

Exports slow.

India exports billions of dollars in goods to the Gulf — Food, electronics, manufactured products.

If shipping routes shift toward the Cape of Good Hope (which is the alternative route) instead of shorter Middle East corridors, transit times increase by weeks.

- Freight costs rise.
- Insurance premiums rise.
- Domestic prices rise.

And voters start asking questions.

Not in Tehran.

In New Delhi. (Political Pressure)
In Dubai. (Economic Pressure)
In Doha. (Economic Pressure)

That’s the strategy.

Create economic pressure far beyond the battlefield.
Force political pressure on Washington and Tel Aviv.

This Is About Regime Change

The objective being discussed is not just retaliation.

It’s regime change.

1. Remove the leadership.
2. Replace the structure.
3. Install a government that will align differently.
.

Now, this is something that you should know because it affects you directly...

President Trump has said the war could end in four weeks and that operations are on schedule.

Maybe.

Maybe militarily.

But regime change doesn’t operate on a timeline, it has it's own problems.

You can remove a leader.

But then what?

- Who replaces him?
- Who do the Iranian people trust?
- Is there a clear successor with legitimacy?
- Is there a unifying figure strong enough to stabilize the country?

Right now, no obvious alternative leader stands out publicly.

And that’s the real issue.

So, my analysis that 4-weeks is slightly optimistic because wars can move fast.

Everything in Iran can be destroyed in a week. But, regime changes don't work that way.

If the objective truly is regime change, the real challenge isn’t the strike.

It’s succession.

Who commands loyalty from:

1. The military?
2. The Revolutionary Guard?
3. The population?
4. The religious establishment?

If leadership collapses without a trusted replacement, you don’t get stability.

You get a vacuum.

And vacuums create chaos.

And if the war goes beyond 4 weeks, it'll affect you even more.

So, to sum up here's the strategy - widen the battlefield, that's leverage. That's what Iran's strategy is.

If Dubai feels it.
If India feels it.
If Gulf economies feel it.
If oil-importing nations feel it.

Then diplomatic pressure multiplies.

The idea is simple:
Make the economic pain broad enough that someone forces a pause.

Buy time and complicate the regime-change timeline.

I knew an EXTREMLY 'ajib person in Madinah. He was an elderly Pakistani man who would sit close to the noble gates of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He was extremely righteous, beautifully simple in his appearance and an absolute lover of the best of creation ﷺ. One day, I was sitting next to him and he opened with me and said, 'I migrated here to Madinah many years ago so I could be close to the Beloved. I came with no wealth, no possessions and nothing of the dunya. I left everything and came here with a broken heart and with a yearning.

I never intended to ever leave the city, however one year I got a call from home and I had to return home to Pakistan because I had a family issue to deal with but I had no money to return so you know what I did? I came exactly here and I made du'a for some sort of assistance. I asked for a little wealth so I could go home and return and I tearfully stood in front of the blessed gates and broke down in poverty and humility.'

He said, 'A few hours passed; I was sitting down with my head down, and a man I had never seen before suddenly grabbed me and took me by the arm. He took me to a travel office, booked my tickets exactly how I wanted them and handed me them. I asked him how he knew of my situation and he simply recited salawat and said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in my dreams describing your situation and I have been instructed!' - You got problems? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that those who dedicate their days to salawat will have their needs taken care of by Allah — and Allah will forgive them of their sins. Always, recite a minimum of 100 salawat upon the Beloved. Arshad Andrabi

This is the tomb of Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi Qs in Damascus.
He was Shafi’i in madhab and Ash’ari in ‘Aqidah.
From childhood, Salahuddin would recite a daily awrad (litany) of the Qadiri Tariqa and he never left it until he passed away.
Many of the men from his army were disciples of Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani Qs.
They would make jihad against the Crusaders during the day and then make jihad upon their souls at night by spending it in worship.

When Salahuddin finally liberated al-Quds, he intentionally entered it on the 27th Rajab so it coincided with the famously commemorated date for the Isra and Mi’raj.
He instructed every Mosque to recite Salawat before the Azan, he spent immense wealth on building institutes of knowledge, and he encouraged mosques to hold gatherings of Zikr on Thursday nights.
Historically, It was always the people of Tasawwuf on the front lines and protecting this ummah.
