As the Parvaah Eco Run approaches closer on the 23rd of April, we are delighted to unveil the running route that will cover a total distance of 7 kilometres.

Beginning at Somaiya School in the Somaiya Campus, the route will wind its way through the entire campus and will end at the KJSCE Amphitheatre.

We invite you to join us in this exceptional experience right here on your own campus. Bring along your friends and family as we come together to run for a change!

KJSCE Parvaah has taken the initiative to clean up the Powai lake.

Parvaah, the social initiative of KJSCE has taken the pains to clean the Powai lake and restore it's sanctity.
Our team removed large amounts of various pollutants from the lake giving it a clean bill of health.

For the academic year 2023, Team Parvaah organized a Secret Santa Event for the kids of the Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation, Thane(w) on January 2023.

Through Parvaah KJ Somaiya College of Engineering has always encouraged its student to practice social awareness and empathy on the ground level. This visit to a girls orphanage in Thane turned out to be an experience that we will cherish forever. We learnt a lot of things from them, the major one being discipline. There were girls of all age groups and yet irrespective of their ages everyone dutifully followed their values and the prayers which they recited before eating.

They were super talented in dance and arts and we had a memorable time playing and enjoying along with them. The event culminated with the arrival of Santa Claus which was eagerly awaited by the girls and distribution of gifts in the form of food, stationary, books and useful merchandise.

With this endeavour, Team Parvaah is hopeful that its efforts will illuminate the lives of children in the Jeevan Samvardhan Foundation and fill their lives with joy, content and satisfaction during this glorious time of the year!

Education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty; supporting child survival, growth, development, and well-being; and closing the gap in social inequality. But unfortunately, there is still a long way to go, as responsible citizens let's get together and pledge to work towards this cause.

The ozone layer is the protector of life as we know it, and it's depletion, must be stopped before it's too late. So this Ozone Day, let's spread awareness, for both our present, and our future.

KJSCE Parvaah organised a Tree Plantation Drive in collaboration with DIYA Foundation on the 3rd July.

The social outreach saw students and faculty members engage in activities such as sapling plantations and exploring the wonder of nature.

Team Parvaah has yet, added another feather to its cap with its successful social expedition that encourages youth to understand nature and its gift to humanity. We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the members of DIYA Foundation for the collaboration.

The world has seen several threats that deplete the environmental conditions and produce significant warnings of the not-so-distant global warming, which could occur in any form of disaster. In response to this scenario, the United Nations has called for an immediate response to the ongoing climate change by enforcing laws and pacts to harmonize nature's creation.

Observing the 5th of June every year as World Environment Day, let us take swift action to preserve the climatic conditions and unite the communities to enhance the feasible approach to retaliate the climate change under the theme of this year, "Only One Earth".

This global environmental outreach is observed all across the world with jubilant outdoor initiatives like planting trees, beach cleanups to name a few.
