The Lala Municipal Board celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2025.

The celebration commenced early in the morning with the unfurling of the National Flag by Smti Turshi Roy, Chairperson of the Lala Municipal Board, in the presence of Sri Abhijit Bey, AUAS, Executive Officer of Lala MB, along with other officers, staff of the Lala Municipal Board, and members of Self Help Groups (SHGs). The flag hoisting was followed by the solemn singing of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with a sense of pride and unity.
