In 1966, residents of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, began reporting terrifying encounters with a mysterious winged creature. Witnesses described it as over seven feet tall, with massive wings and glowing red eyes that seemed to pierce through the darkness.
The creature became known as The Mothman.
For over a year, dozens of people claimed to see the strange figure flying over roads, abandoned buildings, and forests. Some even reported being chased by it at incredible speeds.
Then, on December 15, 1967, tragedy struck. The Silver Bridge collapsed during rush hour, killing 46 people. After the disaster, many believed the Mothman had appeared as a warning of the impending catastrophe.

The Baalbek Megaliths: The Stones That Defy Logic
