On the occasion of the launch of the 100-week nationwide 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan' launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 2nd August 2026, it is clear that saving the youth from the ill effects of drugs is the biggest social need of the day to build a strong, healthy and advanced nation.
BBAU organised massive program on the occasion under the Patronage of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal. He stressed upon philosophy of Panch Kosh in our lives and become part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Nodal, NMBA, BBAU, Lucknow initiated a drive in BBAU campus and Satellite centre, Amethi and briefed about the activities. Prof. Victor Babu, Dean AA, Proctor, Prof. Ramchandra, Prof. D. R.Modi, Prof. Shura Darapuri, Prof. Sunil Babu and Prof. Neetu Singh, Prof. Amit Kr. Singh, Prof .Dhirendra Pandey, Prof.Sarthik Bagh, Prof.Jagmohan Tanti, NCC Cadets and NSS volunteers shared their views on eradicating drugs from India. The Boys Hostels and Girls hostels organised massive pledge and live telecast of Hon'ble PM address in their respective hostels. BBAU Satellite centre Director Dr. Sandeep Nayak and Coordinator Dr Shankar Kr lal organised Massive pledge, nukkad natak and awareness rally in Amethi and near by locality and market to make nation drug Free. The posters were displayed on the theme in hall to create awareness.
This mission, launched with the support of 125 spiritual organizations, aims to make India drug-free and empowered.
