A Grand Beginning | CBSE Cluster Badminton Tournament 2026 | R.K. Senior Secondary School

The much-awaited CBSE Cluster Badminton Tournament 2026 began on a spectacular note at R.K. Senior Secondary School on 18th August with an inspiring and vibrant Inaugural Ceremony that beautifully celebrated the spirit of sports, unity and sportsmanship.

We were honoured to welcome Mr. Avani Kamal, CBSE City Coordinator and Chairperson, Sahodaya School Complex, as the Chief Guest, along with the esteemed Principals of leading schools whose gracious presence added immense pride and warmth to the occasion.

The ceremony came alive with the Parade of Teams, as young athletes marched in with their school flags. A particularly proud moment was the unfurling of the CBSE Sports Flag, followed by the solemn Sportsmanship Oath, as players pledged to compete with integrity, fairness, respect and true sporting spirit.

Adding colour, rhythm and joy to the celebration was a captivating cultural performances by our students — a beautiful reminder that sport and culture together create a celebration of the human spirit.
