The recent BRICS summit seemed to be a success but even as Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Modi sat talking there was an incursion of the Chinese forces on the Indian side of the border. This rises a question in our mind, that what exactly is china planning, there have been 18 major and minor incidents of Chinese soldiers crossing the border and entering Indian borders in just the past year. Will we ever be able to settle the long standing border incident? incursion of the Chinese forces at the same time as the two leaders met is not only unfortunate but a testament of how fragile the situation is between the two nations! for a country like India, which is surrounded by unfriendly Nuclear nations, its a very risky thing to have such issues. The nations eyes are on the new government, will they be able to settle this issue or will they stall it like their predecessors!

The Country it seems is on the verge of a monumental make over, the new government has promised some really wonderful things, including the railway budget which created a huge ripple across the nation. What remains to be seen though is if the budget which will definitely impact the lives of common people, will be able to deliver. a price hike of 14% on the railway fare really puts stress on the pocket of a common man using the railways as the primary medium of transportation. what is most interesting of all is the promised "Bullet Train", now as we all know. how government projects proceed and how they crumble under the corrupt bureaucracy and end up costing the nations twice as much and take 4 times the amount of time.

What seems like a fresh wave of liberalization in the country is the increased percentage of F.D.I in our defense sector, which seems healthy but will it yield results of the magnitude that India requires.

all these questions make the country's tax payer wonder!

Walking down the street or riding on a scooty have become as scary as walking into a lions den for women. The streets are filled with men who couldn't care less if their actions made women on the street feel unsafe or uncomfortable. We recently talked to some girls who regularly have to commute on a scooty or on public transportation, they say that every second they are alone they have a fear, that they may get r***d or molested or any such thing, which leads one to think that where is our society going? where are we headed to? women are given the highest position in our society, they are given the status of GOD and yet each day is a fresh battle for them. ignoring lewd comments and gestures from the "Chichoras" on the streets. Why should our society be that way? why cant this stop? Has The Moral Compass in Men today Ossified? How can we say our society treats men and women equal when here before us stands the moral carcass of men in whose veins runs cold pallid slime, instead of Hot Red Blood. We must take a oath today, to keep women safe and especially the men to find chivalry in them to do what is right, have the guts to stop what is wrong!
