Meet one of the most fascinating residents of CG City Urban Wetland—the Yellow-wattled Lapwing. Instead of building elaborate nests, this remarkable bird trusts the perfect camouflage of the ground, where its chicks hatch ready to walk within hours and learn the art of survival under the watchful eyes of their parents.

From a vigilant parent to an adventurous chick, every step reflects the importance of safe, undisturbed open wetlands. Their presence is a reminder that even urban landscapes can become thriving homes for wildlife when protected with care.

Every bird has a story. Every wetland has a purpose. Let's cherish and conserve these incredible habitats together.
