During the Mission sashakt awareness session by Dr Puja Thakur Sekera with the students of Police Modern School, Mathura, important conversations were held about recognizing, preventing, and reporting violence against women. The session encouraged young minds to stay alert, support those in need, and understand that speaking up is a sign of strength, not silence.

Students were also informed about the 181 Domestic Violence Helpline, a vital support system for women facing abuse or harassment. The helpline provides immediate assistance, guidance, and connects victims with legal, medical, and counseling support.

Key messages shared with the students:

अपनी सुरक्षा के प्रति सजग और चैतन्य बने रहना केवल आवश्यकता नहीं, बल्कि एक सतत संकल्प है।
मथुरा पुलिस के नव-नियुक्त रिक्रूट्स के साथ महिला अपराधों की रोकथाम एवं महिला सुरक्षा विषय पर के जागरूकता अभियान के अंतर्गत आयोजित यह कार्यक्रम अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक एवं सार्थक रहा।
इस अवसर पर नए पुलिस रिक्रूट्स को उनके कर्तव्यबोध और समाज के प्रति उत्तरदायित्व का स्मरण कराते हुए, मिशन सशक्त ने महिला सुरक्षा के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को और अधिक सुदृढ़ किया।

1076 एक टोल-फ्री, 24×7, आधिकारिक शिकायत निवारण हेल्पलाइन है जहाँ उत्तर प्रदेश के निवासी घर बैठे ही मोबाइल या लैंडलाइन से अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कर सकते हैं।

📌 About 1076 CM Helpline (Uttar Pradesh):
1076 is a toll-free, 24×7 official grievance redressal helpline for residents of Uttar Pradesh. Citizens can register complaints or seek information directly from their homes using a mobile or landline.
🔹 You can use 1076 for:
✔️ Public service–related issues
✔️ Complaints against officials’ misbehavior or inaction
✔️ Grievances with government departments
✔️ Issues with local authorities or administrative processes
✔️ Information about government welfare schemes
👩‍🦰 Special Support for Women through 1076:
Women can safely register complaints related to:
• Domestic violence
• Sexual harassment
• Stalking or threats
• Dowry harassment
• Police inaction in women’s cases
🔸 How 1076 helps women:
✔️ Complaints are escalated to senior authorities (Police/Home Dept./District Magistrate)
