Road Doraha, on rent. He had a habit of serving the poor since childhood, and he used to provide food to the needy free of cost at his dhaba. One day in May 2016, a young paralytic man collapsed in front of the dhaba. Bhai Gurpreet and his friend saw the young man in a very pathetic condition, so they decided to help him. They gave him a shower, changed his clothes, and gave him food to eat. After
some time, the young man told them his name was Arun Kumar Shukla. Bhai Gurpreet shared a few photos of Arun on his Facebook account in an attempt to locate his family. The post was shared widely, and Arun's brother eventually came to see him. However, Arun's brother refused to take him back home. On this day, Bhai Gurpreet realized the power of social media in helping to identify people who are lying on the roadside, unattended and left to die without medication. He also realized that social media can be used to uncover the true face of society, administration, and families. Bhai Gurpreet continues to serve humanity through his NGO, Manukhta Di Sewa Society. The NGO's strength continues to grow without limit. Bhai Gurpreet Singh is an inspiration to us all. He shows us that we can make a difference in the world, no matter how small. He also shows us that social media can be a powerful tool for good.
