ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ RSS ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੈ? ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਇਹ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ RSS ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੰਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਕਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
