It was In 2016 Bhai Gurpreet Singh decided to reopen a closed Dhaba on G.T. Because of compassion in his heart he had a habit to serve the poor since childhood, Bhai Gurpreet used to provide food to the needy free of cost at his Dhaba. It was in may 2016, a young paralytic man collapsed in front of the Dhaba. On seeing the young man in a very pathetic condition Bhai Gurpreet and his friend decided

to pick him up, gave him shower, changed his clothes & food to eat. After some time the young man told his name as Arun Kumar Shukla. It was here after Bhai Gurpreet shared few of Arun’s photos on his facebook account so as to locate his family. The post was shared by the people in a big way. Though Arun’s brother came to see him, he denied taking Arun Kumar Shukla back home. On this day Bhai Gurpreet could realize the “power of social media” in helping to identify the ones lying on road sides unattended left to die without medication. Also through social media we can uncover the face of society, administration & dual face of families. The service of humanity continued till the formation of an NGO who's strength continued to increase unlimited at Manukhta Di Sewa Sab Ton Waddi Sewa Society.
