Many believe that Sarsing Phangcho, a well-educated and capable aspirant from Howraghat, is a strong and deserving candidate even better than Darsing Ronghang.
All eyes are now on the BJP ticket distribution, especially when parties like Asom People's Liberation Army Council and Indian National Congress seem to have little hope in the constituency.
