Mr. M. Mr. M. Vignesh Babu donated blood on ten separate occasions, from his 23rd up to his 33rd donation, frequently responding to urgent requests and participating in scheduled blood donation camps.
Many of these donations were made during NSS-organized camps in collaboration with Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, addressing critical shortages and helping patients in need.

The NSS unit of SACS MAVMM Engineering College collaboratively organized a Legal Aid Camp for first-year students on November 21, 2025, in the college auditorium.

The event featured Mr. Duraipandiyan (Advocate) speaking on general laws, Mr. Rajarajan (Advocate) covering the Motor Vehicle Act, and Mr. Ghyanalakshmi (Advocate) addressing crucial cyber crime topics. The Chief Guest, Tmt. M. Samundeswari Prabha M.A.M.L.—Sub Judge and Chairman of Taluk Legal Services Committee, Melur—delivered an address that highlighted anti-ragging, social media prevention acts, and the POCSO Act.

Thiru G. Ganesan, General Secretary and Correspondent, opened the program with a welcome and honored the dignitaries. Dr. S. Navaneetha Krishnan (Principal) then delivered the vote of thanks in the presence of the Vice Principals, Dean, and department heads.

This initiative supports the goal of increasing legal awareness among students, especially on contemporary legal issues that affect youth. The program reflects ongoing efforts in Indian higher education to empower students with practical legal knowledge and foster safer campus environments through NSS and similar initiatives.

*The National Service Scheme of SACS MAVMM Engineering College conducted a blood donation camp on November 4, 2025 at the College, supporting the critical needs of Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai.*
*The chief guest, Dr. Ambalam Shivanesh, MBBS, DMCH, DFH, Block Medical Officer - Melur/Vellalore, and Rtn.Alkasim, President - Rotary club of Thirunagar, inaugurated the camp, and Thiru. G. Ganesan, Secretary & Correspondent, welcomed and honored the dignitaries.*
*The program took place in the presence of Dr. S. Navaneetha Krishnan, Principal, Dr. R. Prasanna Venkatesh Vice-Principal, Dr. G. Emily Manoranjitham Vice-Principal, Dr. D. Siva Sundhara Raja Dean, and all the heads of departments, reflecting the college’s strong community involvement.*

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and Rotaract club of SACS MAVMM ENGINEERING COLLEGE successfully organized the National Palm Tree Day Celebration at Arittapatti Village on (25-10-25) with great enthusiasm and community involvement. A total of 100 NSS volunteers participated in the event, collectively planting 500 palm seeds, with each volunteer contributing by planting 5 seeds. This initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, groundwater protection, and sustainable ecological growth in the rural region.The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Revathi, Executive Officer of Sivan Kovill, Arittapatti, who emphasized the importance of tree plantation and the ecological benefits of palm trees. Thiru. G. Ganesan honored the chief guest, adding significance to the occasion through his participation and support the presence of Dr. S. Navanneetha Krishnan Principal, Dr.R.prasanna venkattesh Vice Principal, Dr D.Sivasundhara raja Dean and all departments Heads.The entire event was coordinated and organized by Mr. M. Vignesh Babu, NSS Programme Officer, whose guidance ensured the smooth and successful completion of this meaningful initiative. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, marking yet another impactful contribution by the NSS and Rotaract club of SACSMEC towards a greener and more sustainable future.

The Tamil Nadu State NSS Cell organized the State Youth Festival at VIT Chennai Campus from 23rd October 2025 to 27th October 2025. The five-day program aimed to promote unity, leadership, and national integration among the youth through various cultural and service-oriented activities.

In this festival, 10 NSS volunteers represented Anna University as part of the state-level contingent. Among them, Ms. Prabhavathi, a volunteer from the 1288-NSS Unit of SACS MAVMM Engineering College and a student of II Year CSE, participated actively in the camp.

She successfully completed the program, showcasing enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to community service. Her participation brought recognition to the college and reflected the true spirit of the National Service Scheme.
