Today,on the occasion of World Environment Day,
I,along with the dedicated officials and staff of the Maibang Municipal Board,took part in the observance of the day in Maibang,highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and cleanliness.

A healthy environment is the foundation of a healthy society.Despite the weather,our commitment towards keeping Maibang clean and green remained strong, because meaningful change begins with small but collective efforts.

Let us all come forward to plant more trees,reduce waste and protect the beauty of our surroundings for a brighter and more sustainable tomorrow.

An organisational meeting was held today at BJP Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan,Haflong,with district office bearers of BJYM and members of BJYM Haflong Mandal to deliberate and strategise for the upcoming programmes and activities in the coming days.

Special emphasis was laid on the preparations for the celebration marking the successful completion of 10 years of visionary leadership under our Hon’ble CEM Shri. Today,we gathered at the BJP Diger Mandal Office, Dima Hasao to commemorate 12 years of dedicated governance and visionary leadership under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.This milestone reflects a journey of development, progress and commitment towards building a stronger nation.

During the meeting,discussions were held regarding various programmes and activities to mark this special occasion.Over the past 12 years,India,including regions like Dima Hasao,has witnessed significant development,better governance and people-centric initiatives aimed at improving the lives of citizens.

The programme was held in the gracious presence of Shri Mithunjoy Langthasa ji ,President,BJP Diger Mandal, along with party karyakartas and members,where meaningful discussions were carried out to further strengthen the organization and continue serving the people with dedication.

Today,I conducted an inspection visit to Maibang Bazar to assess cleanliness, waste management, drainage, and market conditions .

I remain committed to ensuring proper sanitation, maintaining hygiene and addressing issues affecting the daily lives of our people.Necessary instructions were given to the concerned staff for immediate attention and improvement wherever required.

Our goal is to make Maibang cleaner,safer and better for everyone through collective effort and responsible administration.

Today,I had the privilege to attend the Eco Living & Plantation Drive programme organised by the Dima Hasao Press Club at Fiangpui Higher Secondary School under the theme “Green School, Clean School”, graced by the esteemed presence of Smti. Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge ji, District Commissioner of Dima Hasao District,as the Chief Guest.

The programme highlighted the importance of environmental conservation,cleanliness and plantation among students and the community.
Such initiatives are essential in building awareness and inspiring the younger generation towards a greener and more sustainable future.

My heartfelt appreciation to the organisers,school authorities,teachers and students for making this meaningful initiative a success.Together,let us strive for a cleaner,greener and healthier Dima Hasao.
