Today NSS of Maynaguri College served mid-day meal to 2000 people of Varnish and Putimari villages of storm-ravaged Maynaguri. On this morning, the volunteers cook the food themselves and deliver the food to their homes in a mobile van. Along with volunteers, program officers also participate in food distribution today.

On the sixth day of the annual Special Camp, the volunteers participated in the renovation of the adopted village's mud road. The road had become impassable due to the rains of the past two days. So the volunteers took initiative to repair the road.
