CPIM Malappuram Official Page of the CPI(M) Malappuram District Committee Kerala created history by electing the Communist Party to power in 1957.

This is the official page of the Malappuram District Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). The CPIM works for the establishment of a socialist society in India, free from class exploitation and social oppression. The Party has adopted the principles of Marxism-Leninism as the guide to action to attain the objective of socialism and to advance towards the ultimate goal of co

mmunism. The CPIM places its revolutionary programme before the people of India to establish people’s democracy. A people’s democratic revolution will open the way for the advance to socialism and an exploitation free society. Such a revolution to emancipate the Indian people has to be led by the working class in alliance with the peasantry. In order to achieve this goal, the Communist Party as the vanguard of the working class has to lead militant struggles against imperialism, monopoly capitalism and landlordism. By concretely applying the principles of Marxism-Leninism to the conditions prevailing in our country, the Party has to conduct prolonged struggles on all fronts – political, ideological, economic, social and cultural – till victory is attained. The Party is at the forefront of the fight against communalism in the country, in defence of the minorities who are being hounded by the Sangh Parivar. The Party stands for women's liberation, democratic decentralisation and the protection of the environment. The Party tries to implement alternative policies wherever it leads state government and local governments, within the constraints of the capitalist system prevailing in the country. The new direction given by that government laid the foundation for the renowned 'Kerala Model'. The government led by EMS Namboodiripad showed the way in developing the understanding on how the Communist Party should work in the parliamentary system in a capitalist country, clarifying and defining the role of the Party which participates in government where it has popular mandate while continuing to keep the Party's major focus on developing mass movements and struggles of the working people.

യുപിയിലെ നോയിഡയിൽ കൂലിക്കൂടുതലിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള തൊഴിലാളി സമരത്തെ പിന്തുണച്ച വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനിയായ ആകൃതി ചൗധരിയെ കരുതൽ തടങ്കലിൽ അടച്ച കളക്ടറുടെ നടപടി റദ്ദാക്കുകയും, 5 ലക്ഷം രൂപ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നൽകണമെന്ന് ഉത്തരവിറക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത അലഹബാദ് ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടെ ചരിത്രവിധി ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്.
തൊഴിലാളികൾ അടിമകളല്ല. അവരുടെ ന്യായമായ സമരം അടിച്ചമർത്തുന്ന സംഘപരിവാർ സർക്കാർ നടപടി പ്രാകൃതമാണ്. തൊഴിലാളികളെ അടിമകളാക്കുന്നതാണ് പുതിയ ലേബർ കോഡ്. സമരം ഭരണഘടനാ അവകാശമാണ്. സമരത്തെ പിന്തുണക്കുന്നത് ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധമല്ലെന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല, അഭിപ്രായ പ്രകടനമെന്ന മൗലികാവകാശത്തിന്റെ പരിധിയിൽ പെടുന്നതുമാണ്. അത് ചെയ്തതിനാണ് ദേശീയ സുരക്ഷാ ഭീഷണിയിലായെന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് യുപിയിലെ ബിജെപി സർക്കാർ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനിയെ തുറുങ്കിലടച്ചത്.
പൗരാവകാശം നിഷേധിച്ച് കരുതൽ തടങ്കലിൽ അടച്ചതിനെതിരെ സ്വന്തമായി കേസ് നടത്തിയ എ.കെ.ജിയെ നാം ഓർക്കുകയാണ്. അനീതിക്കെതിരെ നിയമത്തിലൂടെ പൊരുതിയ ആകൃതി ചൗധരിക്ക് റെഡ് സല്യൂട്ട്.

പശ്ചിമഘട്ട പരിസ്ഥിതിലോല പ്രദേശ കരട് വിജ്ഞാപനം അന്തിമമാകുന്നതോടെ മലയോര ജനത നേരിടുന്ന കുടിയിറക്ക് ഭീഷണി പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിന് സർക്കാർ അടിയന്തരമായി ഇടപെടണം.

ജില്ലയിലെ 11 വില്ലേജുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടതിനാൽ മലയോര കർഷകർ ഭീതിയിലാണ്. പശ്ചിമഘട്ട പരിസ്ഥിതിലോല പ്രദേശവുമായി (ഇഎസ്എ) ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ പുറത്തിറക്കിയ ഏഴാം കരട് വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിലാണ് ജില്ലയിലെ 11 വില്ലേജുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. അമരമ്പലം, അകമ്പാടം, ചുങ്കത്തറ, വഴിക്കടവ്, മൂത്തേടം, കുറുമ്പലങ്ങോട്, ചോക്കാട്, കാളികാവ്, പോത്തുകല്ല്, കരുവാരകുണ്ട്, കേരള എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് എന്നീ വില്ലേജുകളാണ് പട്ടികയിലുള്ളത്. വില്ലേജുകൾ പൂർണമായും ഇഎസ്എയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ ജനവാസമേഖലകളെയും ബാധിക്കുമെന്ന ആശങ്കയുണ്ട്.

വിജ്ഞാപനം അന്തിമമാകുന്നതോടെ ഖനനം, ക്വാറികൾ, വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ, നിർമാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ ബാധകമാകും. നിലവിലുള്ള കൃഷിരീതികൾക്കും കർഷകരുടെയും തദ്ദേശവാസികളുടെയും ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിനും നിയന്ത്രണം വരുമെന്നാണ് ആശങ്ക. ജനവാസ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെ പൂർണ്ണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്ന് മുൻ ഇടതുപക്ഷ സർക്കാർ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന് കത്ത് നൽകിയിരുന്നു. കരട് വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിൻ്റെ കാലാവധി 25 ന് അവസാനിക്കുകയാണ്. യു ഡി എഫ് സർക്കാർ ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് ഒരു നടപടിയും കൈക്കൊണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ മന്ത്രിമാരും എംപിമാരും എംഎൽഎമാരും ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ മൗനത്തിലാണ്. ഈ വിഷയത്തിൽ കൃത്യമായ നടപടികൾ സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാവേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.

പ്രദേശവാസികൾക്ക് പരാതി നൽകുന്നതിനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും സർക്കാർ ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. മലയോര ജനതയുടെ കുടിയിറക്ക് തടയാൻ സർക്കാർ നടപടിയെടുക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ശക്തമായ പ്രക്ഷോഭം ആരംഭിക്കും.
