They did not mention the annual bath.

Me: Berty… bath time.
Berty: I am a descendant of warriors. We do not surrender to water.

Me: You haven’t been bathed in a year.
Berty: Exactly. My ancestors would be proud.

(Water turns on)
Berty: This is not a bath… this is an invasion.

Me: Stand still.

Arunachal Pradesh’s Lipin Ete has etched her name in history by securing one gold and one silver medal at the USA Open 2026, held from April 1 to 5 in Texas, USA.

A student of Don Bosco College, Itanagar, and a trainee of Xtreme Martial Arts India (XMA Academy India), she became the first karate athlete from Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast to win medals at the prestigious global tournament.

The Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate Do Association (APAKA) hailed her achievement as a proud moment for the state, stating that her success highlights the growing potential of young athletes from the region and is expected to inspire many more to pursue karate at national and international levels.

But 14th February is also a day of remembrance, for the 40 brave personnel martyred in the attack carried out by based militants. 🇮🇳

It is also International Book Giving Day and Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day, reminding us that love must be accompanied by acts of giving and empathy.
