DDMA Mandi informs the general public that water release from Pandoh Dam will commence at 19:05 hrs.
The general public and tourists are advised to remain alert and avoid going near the riverbed and downstream areas.

Public Notice: Temporary Closure of Pandoh Dam Spillway Gates
Please be informed that the spillway gates of Pandoh Dam will be temporarily closed today for a duration of appx. 30 minutes (17:30 to 18:00) to facilitate an ongoing rescue operation for a missing pickup vehicle and its driver near the 6 Mile area.
Important Warning: Immediately following the 30 minutes closure, the spillway gates will resume normal operations. This will cause a sudden and substantial increase in water levels downstream of the dam.
Tourists and local residents are strictly advised to stay away from the river banks and avoid entering the riverbed area, as water levels will rise rapidly.
