Frequent Power Cuts in Anjuna-Siolim Must End!

Today, I led a delegation to the Electricity Department and strongly raised the issue of recurring power outages affecting residents of Anjuna-Siolim.

The rapid increase in large-scale developments is putting immense pressure on our existing power infrastructure, while ordinary citizens continue to suffer.

I have urged the authorities to take immediate corrective measures and ensure reliable electricity supply for every household. We have been assured that the matter will be addressed, and I will continue to follow up until a permanent solution is achieved.

The needs of our people must always come first.

I was pleased to attend the Notebook Distribution Programme organized by Z.P. Member Shri Nilesh Kambli at Sirsaim.

In the presence of South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, Aldona MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira, Thivim Block President Hemant Kambli, local panch members and Congress workers, around 400 students from Nursery to Class 12 received notebooks to support their educational journey.

I sincerely thank all the citizens, parents and volunteers who contributed to the success of this initiative. My best wishes to all the students for a bright future and continued success in their studies.
