The terrific condition of AIIMS Patna:

Admitted my grandfather for a wound surgery, but due to the carelessness of doctors he is on ventilator.

My father was admitted in AIIMS PATNA Surgical ward on 18/05/2022 for a wound and cellulitis with no respiratory or cardiac problem, was walking on his feet.

The WBC count was 17,000, the surgical unit observed him for days taking no action and then shifted him to medicine unit but was sent back the next day.

They operated the wound a day after and left, attendant (us) cleaned the wound in procedure room and did the dressing 3 times and no doctors responded inspite repetitive calls and heavy blood loss Hb(hemoglobin-5.5g)the oxygen level declined to 78 and BP to 97/56 we started shouting and scolding, then doctors responded and shifted him to ICU and injected 3 unit PRBC blood. They then told us the infection is increasing and lungs got affected. On 3rd day in ICU, they started telling the chance of cardiac failure and now they are telling us that there can be cardiac failure any moment and blood WBC is 100,000(1 lakh).
Even the oxygen masks were issued 4 days ago, if there was any respiratory problem from the beginning why wasn't he put on oxygen before.
Now he is on ventilator, unable to breath and chance of heart failure any moment.

Is AIIMS PATNA hospital curing disease or adding life taking problems?
