The future of work is where creativity meets technology.
The Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Government of Maharashtra, along with its implementing agency Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), successfully concluded the Unity–Google Play Game Developer Training Programme in Mumbai—marking a key milestone in building a future-ready gaming talent pipeline.
With over 5,000 applications and 500 selected participants, the six-month programme equipped aspiring developers with industry-relevant skills in game design, development, and monetisation, along with globally recognised certifications.
The valedictory session was graced by Hon’ble Minister Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, in the presence of Smt. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, and Dr. Shrikant Patil, CEO, MSInS, along with other leaders from government and industry.
As India’s gaming ecosystem grows, such collaborations are critical in transforming skilled youth into global creators and innovators.
