Ever imagine being homeless?? Now imagine being old, abandoned, sick and homeless!! Scary isn't it, well there are approx. 18 million elderly homeless in India. *Ek Prayaas* in collaboration with Vijay Ashram is organising grocery drive for the 35 senior citizens in their Vikhroli centre on 26th Jan. We will handover the groceries and spend sometime with the residents on the occasion of Republic day. Anyone wishing to participate or contribute can reach out to us for details of the event. 'Providing dignity in life and in death' for such people is the main objective of Vijay Ashram. Let's pledge this Republic Day to support old age homes so that the senior citizens are taken care in the last few days of their lives.

Glimpses from yesterdays visit to the NGO.
It was fun interacting with the kids, they were super excited to showcase their talents. With your kind support Team Ek Prayaas was able to contribute 200 kgs rice, 50 kgs Tur Dal, 24 Ltrs cooking oil along with cold creams, lip balms and food boxes. *Ek Prayaas* in collaboration with Snehasadan is celebrating the ultimate spirit of Christmas -
*'Spreading Happiness'*

Every year we make use of this opportunity to bring smile on someone's face by buying gifts for family and friends.
*Let's do it differently this year.*

Many kids aged 4 to 18 years residing in the NGO don't desire for gifts as much as they do for daily meals.

Ek Prayaas is partnering with like minded people to provide *basic groceries* (rice, dal and oil) to Snehasadan this Christmas.

Become a Santaclaus for the needy children and extend your contribution as feeding someone is probably the noblest deed one can do.
