One of the most memorable and inspiring moments of the Manipur cancer screening mission was the warm welcome and interaction with Brigadier Sachin Mahadik of the Indian Army.

During the meeting, meaningful discussions were held regarding the rising health challenges in Manipur, particularly the growing burden of cancer in remote and underserved regions where access to timely healthcare remains limited.

The Saidham Cancer Hospital and Dev-Desh Pratishthan team shared their vision of bringing advanced cancer screening and awareness services directly to the people through this humanitarian initiative.

Brigadier Sachin Mahadik highly appreciated the efforts of the team and acknowledged the importance of early cancer detection in saving lives.

He praised the initiative as a noble cause dedicated to humanity and public welfare, especially for reaching communities that often remain deprived of specialized healthcare facilities.

He extended his heartfelt blessings and encouragement to Dr. Vaibhav R. Deogirkar, Chairman of Dev-Desh Pratishthan, and the entire team for their dedication towards the mission of “Cancer Mukt Bharat.”

The interaction became a powerful moment of motivation for the entire team, reinforcing the collective commitment towards building a healthier and cancer-aware society in Manipur and across India.
