Children come with diverse languages, experiences, and ways of learning. When this diversity is valued, it enriches learning for all.

In the concluding session of our School Transformation Webinar Series, we reflected on Classroom Practices for Inclusion- and how inclusive pedagogy can become part of everyday teaching.

With insights from Mr. Subir Shukla, Dr. Ankur Madan, and Ms. MANJUSHREE PATIL, the conversation explored responding to diversity, Universal Design for Learning, and creating classrooms where every child can participate with dignity.

At Muktangan, classrooms are shaped by the strength, care, and commitment of the women who nurture them every day.

On International Women’s Day, we came together to celebrate the teachers, mothers, staff members, and leaders who continue to guide learning spaces with empathy, resilience, and quiet determination.

Their work goes far beyond lessons and routines. Through their presence, they create environments where children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow.

When women are empowered to learn, lead, and nurture, they do more than transform classrooms; they shape communities and generations. Today, and every day, we celebrate the women who make our learning community what it is.

Curiosity filled the air as our schools came together to celebrate Science Day.

The day began with students shining a light on the work of unsung scientists whose contributions often remain unrecognised but continue to shape our understanding of the world. Through thoughtful presentations and short talks, children shared the stories and impact of these remarkable individuals.

Across classrooms, students confidently demonstrated experiments, explained scientific ideas, and showcased models and posters they had created. These moments reflected not only their creativity and understanding, but also the joy of discovering how the world around us works.

The celebration concluded with a tribute to Dr. C. V. Raman, whose discovery of the Raman Effect continues to inspire generations of learners.

At Muktangan, moments like these remind us that science is not only about answers. It begins with curiosity, questions, and the courage to explore.

At Muktangan, language is lived before it is learned.

On the birth anniversary of Kusumagraj, our school communities observed Marathi Rajbhasha Din with a week dedicated to celebrating the richness of Marathi. Classrooms opened up to poetry, storytelling, essays, drama, music, art, and language games, each activity inviting children to experience Marathi not just as a subject, but as something deeply their own.

Teachers designed spaces for exploration and expression. Students participated with curiosity and confidence. Together, they created moments of joy, reflection, and pride.

For us, honouring Marathi is part of honouring the child, their voice, their history, their cultural roots.

Because when language is respected, children feel seen.

Muktmilanam 2026

There is something special about returning to where it all began.

Batch 2022-23 came back to familiar corridors, shared stories that have grown richer with time, and reconnected with friendships that continue to anchor them.

The day was filled with laughter, reflection and quiet gratitude for the experiences that shaped their journeys. The values nurtured at Muktangan continue to travel with them in every step they take.

Being a Muktanganite is not about a phase of life. It is a lifelong connection to learning, respect, freedom of expression and integrity.

The Muktangan Soirée 2026 was a beautiful reminder of the power of coming together for children

The evening unfolded through reflections from Mayur Khaire, a moving violin performance by Mika Nishimura with our students, and a lively rapid-fire conversation with Jumana Rampurawala. Each moment carried warmth, honesty, and shared purpose.

Mehta’s closing words gently brought us back to what matters most. Education rooted in dignity. Trust between parents and teachers. Children at the centre of every decision.

The Soirée was not just about celebrating how far we have come. It was about strengthening our commitment to inclusive, child-centred learning and to learning and growing together as one community.

Practice met purpose at

A few of our schools shared their classroom innovations, shaped by real experiences and real children. What stood out was not just creativity, but deep contextual understanding and respect for learners, families, and community.

At Muktangan, children are active participants. Teachers grow as reflective practitioners. Parents walk alongside us. Community stays at the heart of everything we do.

Grateful to see our learning journeys spark conversations and inspiration beyond Mumbai.

Speaker Spotlight - Sanjana Korgaonkar

In our second Muktangan Webinar 2026, we are joined by Sanjana Korgaonkar, Secondary School Teacher at Muktangan School.

With over a decade of experience in education, Sanjana’s journey reflects sustained classroom practice and a deep commitment to adolescent learning. After teaching at the primary level for nine years, she transitioned to secondary education, where she currently teaches Science to Grade 9 students.

As we reflect on building a culture of care in secondary education, Sanjana brings the lived perspective of a classroom educator. Her work centres on student engagement, inclusive practices, and nurturing critical thinking, confidence, and emotional growth in adolescents.
