Today marks Manusmriti Dahan Divas, when Dr Ambedkar in 1927 organised mass burning of the casteist and misogynistic text, Manusmriti. It was burned by his colleague a Brahmin Mr.Sahastrabuddhe.I Thank and Salute all those who dared to take a step against the casteist Varna Sanstha tradition including the revolutionary Brahmins who supported the act and stood beside Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar.Burning by the hands of a Brahmin was to set an example of equality and burning and destroying Old traditions and setting a strong foundation of Modern India.Wish all my countrymen A Day of Equality,Love, Compassion and Brotherhood.Jai Bhim 🙏🙏
