Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East The Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East (RCMME), affiliated to Rotary International, strives to bring about a positive change to the lives of people.

Established in 1986, the Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East comprises individuals from
diverse backgrounds who have come together in an effort to bring about a positive change
to the lives of people in the community. Members of this club meet at the Rotary Centre, Rotary Garden , MAHADA Colony Mulund East, every Thursday at 7:30 pm. The club is affiliated to Rotary International and a part of Mumba

On 4th Sept, The Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East conducted an engaging Eco-Friendly Ganpati-Making Workshop at Vidyadeep Vidyalaya School in Vikhroli West. Children were empowered to become young ambassadors of creativity, culture and a greener Ganpati celebration.

Trainer Chitra, assisted by Firdoz, guided the children in creating their own Ganpati idols while promoting creativity, cultural values and environmental responsibility.

The workshop highlighted how
eco-friendly idols help reduce water pollution and protect aquatic life during immersion, inspiring children to celebrate Ganpati more sustainably. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ™

The Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East conducted a Book Distribution Drive at Sharda Night High School, Vikhroli West, supporting students in their educational journey.

Books were distributed to the students, encouraging them to read, learn and continue pursuing their dreams. President Rtn Suyash Tripathi interacted with the students and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities they receive, work hard and stay committed to their education.

GOOD TOUCH โ€“ BAD TOUCH AWARENESS SESSION

Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East and Rotary Club of Vasai came together for a joint project to conduct a Good Touchโ€“Bad Touch Awareness Session for 408 students.

The session was conducted and facilitated by Rtn. Shaline Serpes, Secretary, Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund East. It was a highly interactive and engaging session, using demonstrations, simple examples, actions and an awareness song to make the important messages easy for children to understand and remember.

The session focused on safe and unsafe touch, personal boundaries, recognising uncomfortable situations, and the importance of saying NO and speaking to a trusted adult.

๐ŸŽ Giving Back to the School

As part of the joint initiative, Rotary Club of Vasai distributed chocolates to all 408 children and also donated a library to the school, contributing towards both the childrenโ€™s happiness and their continued learning.

As part of our Roti Bank Project, we come together every Thursday to distribute rotis to those in need.

On 27 August 2026, we continued this meaningful initiative by distributing rotis and spreading not just food, but care, compassion, and hope. ๐Ÿคโค๏ธ

Because when we share what we have, we nourish more than just a body โ€” we nourish humanity. ๐ŸŒฑ

๐Ÿ”ด๐ŸŸก๐ŸŸข Put a Traffic Light Between You and Every Touch! ๐Ÿšฆ

An interactive Good Touchโ€“Bad Touch awareness session was conducted by RCMME Club Secretary Rtn Shaline Serpes for 45 children from Montessori to Grade 2 at School Guru Nanak Global Academy. Through music, visuals, dance and role-play, children learned to recognize unsafe touches, pause when unsure, and confidently speak up.

A fun, age-appropriate initiative focused on building awareness, confidence and personal safety. ๐Ÿ’›
