It is a small village (1k.m.)between NH 34 in the left and Falgu river in the right.It is 7 k.m. far away form Raghunathganj,a small town of Murshidabad.This village name was given by late shri Jayanta Das.he had the owner of many lands.He was very brave and respect man in this area.He died in some years ago in a heart attack.
