The three-day District-Level Training Programme on Houselisting and Housing Census Operations (HLO) under Census 2027 (Phase-I) concluded successfully today at the District Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mushalpur.

District Commissioner of Baksa, Kimnei Changsan, IAS, attended the final day of the programme. The training focused on houselisting procedures, enumeration protocols, data collection methods, and other key aspects of the upcoming Census exercise.

Additional District Commissioners, Circle Officers, district-level officials, and technical personnel participated in the programme. The sessions were conducted by Dr. K. S. Singh, former Joint Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Assam, and Siddharth Kumar, Statistical Investigator.

On the second day of the District Level Training Programme on Houselisting and Housing Census (HLO) under Census 2027 (Phase-I), the District Commissioner of Baksa, Kimnei Changsan, attended the training session held at the District Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mushalpur, today.

The training programme covered important aspects of the upcoming Census exercise, including houselisting procedures, data collection methods, coordination mechanisms, and the roles and responsibilities of officials engaged in the process.

Additional District Commissioners, Circle Officers, district-level officials, and technical staff from various departments participated in the sessions.

Following the sessions, a practical training session was conducted, where participants were given hands-on guidance on the operational aspects related to the Census process.

District Commissioner Kimnei Changsan IAS, attended the District Level Training Programme on Houselisting and Housing Census (HLO), Census 2027 (Phase-I) at the DC Conference hall,Mushalpur on Wednesday.

The training focuses on the introduction to Census 2027, including its methods, processes and the role of key stakeholders.

Officials including ADCs, Circle Officers, district-level officers and technical staff attended the programme and participated in the sessions.

The training programme aims to equip the concerned officials with the necessary operational knowledge and responsibilities for smooth conduct of the Houselisting and Housing Census activities across Baksa district.

District Commissioner of Baksa Kimnei Changsan,IAS, chaired a meeting with members of the Idgah Committee at the DC Conference Hall, to discuss preparations and arrangements ahead of the upcoming Id-ul-Zuha celebration.

ASP (HQ) Joopi Bordoloi, APS, Circle Officers, officials from the district administration, police department and members the Idgah Committee attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on ensuring peaceful and smooth conduct of the festival across the district.
