The people are not aware when it was created how this was named but as I learnt it is very old and there is no recorded history about the same. The famous places surrounding the village is Chamooda Sthan on the bank of Lakhanday River,Darbhanga, Bharwara (Birth Place of Gonu Jha), Sitamadhi and Madhubani. Pahsaul is 35 km distance from its District Main City Muzaffarpur . And 105 km distance from
its State Main City Patna. The significance of Pahsaul in civilization arises out of its position on the frontier line between two most spiritual influences and is a meeting place of Hindu and Islamic culture and thoughts. Pahsaul fostered scholars, poet, businessman statesmen . The language of the region is Western Maithili some people call it Vajjika. Pahsaul is the main trading hub of the near by region, It has many trader ranging from small to big, Shivshankar Kirana Dukan, Manoj Vastralay, Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation , and many traders who generated considerable opportunity and business. Pahsaul is an important centre for the wholesale trading. There are some private schools and one Govt. Middle school named as Sonarba School, there is no good environment of education due to awareness and infrastructure, despite of these our village has Engineer, Doctors, Chartered Accountants, MBA, Cost Management Accountants
