Muzhappilangad a small coastal village in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala, is now one of the most important tourist destination of kerala. This village is renowned for its 5 km long pristine Drive in Beach. The drive in beach, the second largest in india, has already entered in the world tourism map. It is now a fast developing tourist spot which is attracting both local and foreign people in large numbers.
The nearest town to Muzhappilangad is the town of Thalassery which is 7 km away. The District Headquarters Kannur is about 13 km from Muzhappilangadu.
