ನಾಡಿನ ಜ್ವಲಂತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಟಿಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (SDPI) ಪಕ್ಷವು ಸತತ 3 ನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಸಹ ವಿವಿಧ ಜನಪರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಅಧಿವೇಶನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲೋ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಜಾಥಾವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 13 ರಂದು ಆರಂಭಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿರುವ ಈ ಜಾಥಾವು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 15 ರಂದು ಸುವರ್ಣ ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಜನಾಗೃಹ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಜನತೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಧ್ವನಿಯೆತ್ತಲ್ಲಿದೆ

In a deeply tragic incident on November 1, four minor girl students of Hajira Nishwan School, Shanthinagar, Mysuru, drowned in a canal. It later came to light that the children were taken outside the campus to wash school carpets without the permission or knowledge of their parents. Following this shocking negligence, an FIR has been registered at Arekere Police Station, Srirangapattana Taluk, against the school authorities who are now absconding. The school has since been locked.

From the very first day, SDPI leaders & caders have stood firmly with the grieving families. Understanding the urgency of continuing the children’s education, the team successfully facilitated the admission of 20 affected students into various schools.

Today, at the SDPI Office in Ward No. 33, our leaders distributed books and essential stationery kits to these students, ensuring their learning is not disrupted.

SDPI remains committed to supporting the families, demanding accountability, and ensuring such negligence never repeats. Our priority is the safety, dignity, and future of every child.

Respected Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah,

Under whose orders are the police of Dakshina Kannada working?

In Dakshina Kannada district, Bantwal taluk, at Punchame near Addoor, the Masjid Al Maryam under the administration of Islamic Education Trust had legally obtained a 2-year license from the police department for using the loudspeaker for Azaan.

However, to cancel this legally valid license, Hindu Jagarana Vedike Bantwal and one Yogesh Punchame filed complaints with the Polali Panchayat and the police. Based on these complaints, it is said that the police, succumbing to the pressure of Hindutva organizations, have cancelled the loudspeaker license and seized the loudspeaker.

Is this state being governed by the Congress government or the RSS government? Stop being subservient to the RSS and govern in accordance with the Constitution.

I urge the Hon’ble Director General of Police, Karnataka (DGP Karnataka), to immediately intervene and restore the loudspeaker license.

Social and Educational Survey 2025

The Government of Karnataka, through the Backward Classes Commission, has planned to conduct a Social and Educational Survey from 22nd September 2025 to 7th October 2025, with the aim of collecting comprehensive data.

In preparation for this, electricity department meter readers will visit each household to identify the location, prepare a house list, and Geo-tag it. They will also paste the government’s official sticker on your house. Residents are requested to cooperate with them during this process. (This sticker must not be removed until the completion of the survey.)

Later, starting from 22nd September 2025, government officials/teachers will visit your homes based on the uploaded house list. Each official/teacher will be assigned a block of 150 houses to conduct the survey. At that time, the public is kindly requested to provide correct and clear information regarding your religion, caste, sub-caste, social and educational status, political representation, and economic conditions.

Attention: Muslim Community Leaders, Elected Representatives, Organization Heads, and Social Workers

The Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission, in preparation for the upcoming Social and Educational Census, issued a notification on 19/08/2025 directing that Aadhaar cards of all individuals above six years of age be kept ready.

Additionally, the Commission has released a list of 124 sub-castes within the Muslim community and has provided a seven-day period for submitting objections in case:

Any sub-caste has been omitted, or

There are errors in the names of the sub-castes listed.

Those who have any objections or suggestions may send them to the email ID: [email protected].

I have attached herewith the notification issued by the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission.

(A request has also been made to the government to extend the deadline for submitting suggestions and objections by another week.)

ಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮಾಂದ್ಯ ಯುವತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ನಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, SDPI & WIM ನಾಯಕಿಯರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. SDPI ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಸಾದಿಯಾ ಈ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೂಡಲೇ, ಈ ಹತ್ಯೆಯ ತನಿಖೆಗಾಗಿ, ಐಪಿಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್ಐಟಿ ರಚಿಸಬೇಕು, ಬಜ್ಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಮು ವಿದ್ವೇಷದ ಭಾಷಣ,ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದವರನ್ನು, ಈ ಹತ್ಯೆಯ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರಹಿಂ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು, ಕೊಲೆ ಯತ್ನ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ, ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ, ಕಲಂದರ್ ಶಾಪಿ ರವರ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಖರ್ಚನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಭರಿಸಬೇಕು, 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

The Tanveer Sait Nagar area, which belongs to the Ramanahalli Town Panchayat under the Narasimharaja Assembly Constituency of Mysuru, has long suffered from a lack of basic infrastructure, transportation connectivity, and proper road facilities. However, after continuous efforts by SDPI leaders, city transport bus services have now been introduced to Tanveer Sait Nagar.

For many years, the residents of this area, who relied solely on auto-rickshaws to commute to Mysuru city for school, college, and daily work, can now benefit from this service. Heartfelt congratulations to district president Rafath Khan, district committee members Mansoor Khan, Zabeena Bhanu, and other leaders for making this possible.

Previously, the same leaders had also worked hard to secure an Anganwadi center for the area.

Remembering Marhoom Azeez Sait sab (15 March 1926 – 28 December 2001) on his 23rd death anniversary. A dedicated leader and a prominent voice for minorities, he served with distinction as the Minister of State for various departments in Karnataka. Representing the Narasimharaja constituency for six terms, his contributions to the Congress Party and to the people of Karnataka remain unparalleled. His legacy continues to inspire us. May Allah accept all his services to mankind.
