The village provides an unparalleled religious and cultural experience of Durga puja each year . " Bolo gurga Mai ki ~ joi " eco the United voice of all the ladies and gents in the households as they move towards the pandals for pujo . Wishing for a safe journey ahead in life . The sound of intense beats coming from the dhak mixed with the aroma of dhunuchi lit in every houses , road , every corner of the village . Wearing the most beautiful attires , adorning the heaviest of jewels and thickest of bangles with sindoor and red bindis on the woman of the village becomes the symbol of beauty and power. After all Durga pujo is the day of the Devi.
Generally , people celebrate durgo pujo 4 days instead of 9 days at Uttar Ameri Addi Baruari Kali Mondir it's starts from maha sasthi to Doshomi
