Food Craft Institute(FCI), Samaguri is the solitary Food Craft Institute in Assam. It produces specially groomed skilled human resources to meet the challenge in the new millennium. The beautiful complex of FCI , Samaguri , located by highway (NH-37) connecting upper and lower Assam (about 25 km from Nagaon), welcomes you with it's lush green splendor. The FCI has been setup with joint assistance

from the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Assam under the chairmanship of Shri H.S. Das, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism, Govt of Assam with a view to train and develop skilled manpower for ever growing Hospitality industry
Started in the year 2010, the Institute is currently offering five different demand driven courses in the hospitality operation, which are diploma in Front Office Operation, Food & Beverage Service, Food Production, Bakery & Confectionery and Housekeeping. The Food Craft Institute, Samaguri is commited to produce trained manpower for Hospitality Industry for 21st Century and is fully equipped with the latest modern infrastructure prescribed by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, New Delhi.

Celebrating International Women’s Day at the Food Craft Institute, Samaguri–Nagaon, in collaboration with Khagarijan College.

A group of enthusiastic young women from Khagarijan College visited the FCI campus to gain insight into the world of the hospitality industry. Through engaging interactions and learning experiences throughout the day, the students left with a deeper appreciation of the opportunities and significance of this vibrant field.

We were delighted to host the bright and aspiring students along with their esteemed faculty members, making the day even more special as we celebrated the remarkable women who inspire progress and empowerment every day.
