POSH Awareness & Sensitization | ICC Session | NFSC, Nagpur

An exclusive awareness and sensitization session was organised for the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) of NFSC on 19 August 2026.

Dr. Sangita Jha, CIO, Social Crime Division, Kolkata emphasised on the effective functioning of the ICC and responsibilities under the POSH framework in this session.

POSH Awareness & Sensitization | Day 2 | NFSC, Nagpur

A POSH Awareness and Sensitization Session was organised at the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, on 19 August 2026 for NFSC employees and trainee officers of professional courses.

The session by Dr. Sangita Jha, CIO, Social Crime Division, Kolkata, covered key aspects of the POSH Act, 2013, workplace conduct, consent, gender sensitivity, the role of the Internal Committee, complaint mechanisms and prevention of harassment.

The programme reinforced the importance of dignity, respect, professionalism and a safe and inclusive workplace for all.

POSH Awareness Session at NFSC

NFSC organized a POSH Awareness Session on 18 August 2026 for around 200 B.Tech Fire Engineering students. The session was conducted by Dr. Sangita Jha, Guest Speaker, CIO, Social Crime Division, Kolkata, focusing on awareness, dignity, respect and a safe environment for all.

🎖️ A Proud Moment for NFSC!

Mrs. Vaishali Singh, Assistant Director, was felicitated for her outstanding presentation by Smt. P. Amudha, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, who graced the Valedictory Session as Chief Guest.

Mrs. Singh was attending the In-Service Training Programme on "Whole-of-Government Approach for Disaster Resilience and Quality of Living", held at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, from 20th–24th July 2026.

The week-long programme brought together officers from across the country to strengthen coordinated, whole-of-government approaches to disaster resilience and improved quality of living.
