Nss-Dyspgpgc Nahan The NSS Unit at our College was started in 1983 in our college. Presently our college has two NSS Units having enrolment of 263 volunteers.

Out of which 95% volunteers are girls.

The NSS Units at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Govt. Post Graduate College Nahan has been established in the year 1983. Since then various dedicated NSS Programme Officers have taken up multiferious activities to groom the personality of the volunteers and serve the society with the mission "NOT ME BUT YOU". The very concept of making true citizen of the country has been inculcating to numerious volunteers since its inception. Its a proud moment to me to accept it vividly that I myself is the result of the NSS volunteerism of this College under the Guidance and direction of the then Principal, Dr. Suresh Joshi and leadership of NSS Programme Officers-Prof. I. J. Sharma, Prof. Anjana Pant and Dr. M.S. Rathore. Now, today I feel proud being holding the charge of NSS Programme Officer of this prestigeous Institute, My Almamater. My predecessors (NSS Programme Officers) have left indelible impression of true volunteerism and rich legacy to us based on the strong pillars of discipline, dedication and determination. Since holding Charge of NSS in October, 2019 our NSS Units has been trying to collaborate with various departments, NGOs, Industries, Social Groups and NYKs to prepare our volunteers as the best citizens of the country. The basic idea to launch our own page is to just encourage our volunteers and attract the students to join it with a purpose. We are sharing unforgetable moments here over this page.
