A two-day training programme on “Business Development Plan (BDP) Formulation for Dairy and Fishery Cooperatives” was organised on 24th and 25th August 2026 at the Arunachal Pradesh Cooperative Training Centre (APCTC), Naharlagun.

The programme featured resource persons from various departments and organisations, including Dr. Tago Bage, DVO (Marketing) cm MD, Arunachal Dairy; Miss Pulu Tago, Dairy Development Officer, Arun Dairy; Shri Sachin Sharma, Deputy Director, NCDC; Shri Michi Gumbo, Joint RCS (Development); Shri Tagi Yonggam, Deputy Director (Fishery); and Shri C. Barman, Consultant, APITCO.

21st August 2026, a training programme on “Cooperative Governance and Management” was jointly conducted by the Lower Subansiri District Cooperative Union and the Keyi Panyor District Cooperative Union. The programme was inaugurated by Ms Dani yamang (ARCS) and shri Hage Komo (ARCS) I/c DRCS Ziro. In his address, Shri Hage Komo highlighted efforts of the govt on strengthening cooperative institutions and the need for transparent governance.

The training focused on strengthening the knowledge and capacity of cooperative society members and functionaries in the areas of governance, management, and statutory compliance. The resource persons Shri Takhe Tado, JICS; Shri Leegang Lodder, JICS; and Shri Gyati Taker, JICS, conducted sessions on bookkeeping and maintenance of records, the importance and conduct of Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and the provisions of the Arunachal Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act and Rules.

18 August,2026: Hon’ble Minister of Cooperation, Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Ojing Tasing, today inaugurated the Apex Bank Conference Hall , unveiled a new logo of department of cooperation and also chaired a departmental review meeting. During the meeting, he reviewed the status of various initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation and discussed a wide range of issues pertinent to the department. The programme was attended by Shri Mito Dirchi, Secretary (Cooperation); Shri Jummar Bam, RCS; Shri Pelban Tayeng, JRCS; Shri Michi Gumbo, JRCS; and other district officials.
