The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) joined the nationwide protest against the BJP-led government over the FIR filed against Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji.

Hundreds of Congress leaders, workers and supporters came together in a peaceful but determined rally, raising their voice against the suppression of the Opposition and defending democracy, constitutional values and the voice of the people.

🇮🇳 PEACEFUL PROTEST MARCH 🇮🇳

This is to inform all concerned that the Peaceful Protest March organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on 2nd September 2026 from Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar to V-Mart, opposite A.P. Civil Secretariat Gate against the malicious FIR on LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji and demanding FIR against the BJP Workers in Utrakhand, was successfully conducted and peacefully concluded.

The protest witnessed active participation from various Congress units and frontal organisations, including Arunachal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (APCSD), Mahila Congress Seva Dal, APCSD Young Brigade (APCSDYB), District Congress Seva Dal (DCSD), City Congress Seva Dal (CCSD), and Block Congress Seva Dal (BCSD).

The APCSD team participated in the programme with unity, discipline and full organisational spirit. The team was led by Shri Teli Rajnish Ji, General Secretary, APCSD, along with Shri John Taba, Treasurer, APCSD; Smt. Yake Pabin, president, Mahila Congress Seva Dal; Adv. Chukhu Peter, President, APCSD Young Brigade; Smt. Nambam Deniang, Chief Organiser, Women President DCSD Papum Pare and Shri Nabam Art, Chief Organiser, CCSD.

The successful participation and peaceful conclusion of the rally reflected the collective strength, unity and commitment of the Congress organisation in upholding democratic and constitutional values.

We sincerely appreciate and thank all the office-bearers, leaders, members and workers of the various Congress units for their active participation, cooperation and discipline in making the programme a grand success.
