Nainital zoo We believe in creating a safe ecosystem for nature to create a better future. This is the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 for Nainital Zoological Park. B.

The zoo opened to the public on 01 June 1995 and is Managed by G. Pant High Altitude Zoo and Biodiversity Conservation and Management Society Nainital

Popularly known as Sher ka Danda, it sits on a hill slope covering a lush belt of 4.693 Hectares. It creates a safe haven for the preservation of wildlife through conservation, care, education, research, and recreation. Nainital Zoological Park dis

plays a sustainable collection of Himalayan High altitude flora and fauna and also serves as a rescue and rehabilitation ground for wild animals. This is an ideal place for adventure lovers, nature enthusiasts, and animal aficionados.

Young nature enthusiasts participated in the exciting Painting and Wildlife Quiz Competition, showcasing their creativity and knowledge about wildlife conservation. The event witnessed tremendous enthusiasm, with students enjoying every moment while learning about the importance of protecting our magnificent big cats.
