Tagore Model Senior Secondary School recently celebrated its 40th Annual Function with great enthusiasm, colour, and joy. The occasion was not just a celebration, but a tribute to four decades of hard work, achievements, and memorable moments. The school held its first annual function in 1985, on the completion of five years of its establishment.
The foundation of the school was laid in 1981 by Late Shashi Parashar and Manmohan Parashar. Today, the school has successfully completed 45 years of its journey.
The grand celebration was graced by the presence of Inderjit Kaur Mann (MLA), Keval Singh Takhar (Former President, Municipal Council), and Ashu Marwaha (Director, IJM Group) as special guests.
Social workers Gaurav Jain, Harish Sharma, Councillor Shivani, Ramesh Sondhi, Amarjeet, along with other distinguished guests, marked their gracious presence at the event.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by vibrant cultural performances by the students, showcasing their remarkable talent.
The soulful presentations of dance, music, drama, ghazal and shabad left the audience deeply moved and beautifully reflected that along with academics, art, culture, and values remain the true identity of the school.
Towards the end of the programme, Manager Nishant Prashar presented the annual report, and Principal Palwinder Kaur extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to all the honoured guests.

The five-day Diwali celebration kicked off at Tagore Model Senior Secondary School, Nakodar.
Tagore Model Senior Secondary School, Nakodar, organized a celebration to celebrate Dhanteras, Diwali Puja, Vishwakarma Day, and Bhai Dooj.
Today, during the evening of songs, Arshpreet, a student of the school, enthralled the audience with her ghazal rendition. Students from grades 6th through 12th also performed their own songs. Cultural coordinator Rupinder Ripi informed students about the importance of co-curricular activities. Political Science lecturer Anand also entertained the teachers and students with his singing. School administrator Nishant Parashar and Principal Palwinder Kaur encouraged students to share happiness with everyone with a spirit of goodwill. Primary school students decorated the classroom and welcomed the teachers.

Teej festival was celebrated at Tagore Model Senior Secondary School Nakodar.

Today, Teej festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in all the wings of Tagore Model Senior Secondary School. On this occasion, the management remembered the school administrators
Late Manmohan Prashar and Shashi Prashar and reiterated their pledge to promote cultural activities.
Students and teachers participated in Punjabi Ghazal, Songs, Rubaiyan, Gidha and Bhangra etc.
School Principal Palwinder Kaur and Administrator Nishant Prashar welcomed and thanked everyone.
